South Fork Salmon
- Here is a picture of myself negotiating Elk Creek Rapid on the South Fork Salmon, Canyon section. It was taken by my wife in
late August of 1999, and the flows were well below 2'. In addition to a fun technical whitewater trip, the native cutthroat
trout fishing was phenomenal. Ben Reingold
Payette
- "OVER & OUT" on the Main Payette, "Go Left or Die" (but not that far left....) well, we always go that
far left for the big holes..) taken by the photo business: Tim, Char, Jason, Cyndi, and Deb out of the IK 6-10-01.
- This is a shot of Wink Jones, Jr. running Big Falls on the South Fork
Payette Canyon. Photo taken by John Keys.
- A whole series of Greg Briggs running Big Falls Awesome run!
Main Payette-Winter Boating in Idaho
Thought you'd get a kick out of this photo -- some of us are doing our
part to keep the ice broken up in our favorite eddies. It was taken last
Friday below Horseshoe Bend -- Pete Zimowsky, Natalie Bartley & I had
a fun afternoon playing on the wave train just beyond the edge of the photo.
I've subsequently titled it "winter
yaker-ducks". Julie (who took the photo)
Howard's Plunge on the North Fork of the Payette
Here are some photos taken by Cindy Luikart at Howard's Plunge on the North
Fork of the Payette. June 1999. Submitted by Dee Gardiner
Screaming Left Turn on the North Fork Payette
I ran the NF Payette just before the slides. In this photo I got a little close to the Log at Screaming left turn, I'll try not to pop an oar
during my set next time. For any case of the whitewater flu, I recomend two runs on the NF and call your doctor in the
morning...........Michael Moses
Main Salmon
Chair Creek at about 26K- Salmon River
I was just checking in on your site and thought maybe you would like this picture. This is Chair Creek at about 26K. They got hammered but
made it with out too much trouble.
- I have been blessed with many trip down the Main Salmon. Here is a picture of my kids and I making our way to our next
camp. This is one of their favorite rivers (but then again, they say that about all the rivers)! Sherri Barron and be sure to check out Sherri's web page

Owyhee Falls
Vince,
Here's a shot of Owyhee Falls on the East Fork at about 1200 cfs. Even with
IKs, a grueling portage! Photo by Mike of his wife Bonnie taken May 2000.

Rainie Falls-Rogue
As I thumbed thru the website I love the reader submitted photo's. Here is one of my first trip down the Rogue last year. This photo is
of Rainie Falls, we stopped and scouted and after carefull consideration we took it straight down the middle. What you don't see is a
purple 16' Aire raft, the photo was taken from a member of our trip and came out great..........Michael Moses
Rainie Falls Aire-ial moves
I got a snap shot of Jim Black going over Rainie Falls on the Rogue River
over Memorial Day Weekend. Thought you might enjoy seeing the old Ocelot
still performing Aire-ial moves in top shape. Kirt Metcalf.
